YEA RACECOURSE |

| Based on the Racecourse Road in Yea in
Victoria is the Year Racecourse which has witnessed racing since the early 1900's. The
original track was about 5 miles from the town. |

The races were transferred to Kerr's Land until 1903. By
1904 the inaugural meeting on its current site was held, although future meetings were
badly disrupted by both World Wars. |

| In 1930 the Club became Yea Amateur Picnic
Club. |

President of the Yea Racing Club is Toby McLeish whose
father Oliver rode a winner at the track at the grand old age of 75. |
