| Speedway took place across Bradford at a number of venues from as early as 1928 when the first meeting was held at Shelf Moor on 15th April 1945. The first meeting at Odsal Stadium was held on 23rd June 1945 and was winessed by a crowd in excess of 20000. Crowds continued to increase, reaching well over 30000 on many occasions, as the Boomerangs competed in the National League and the National League Division 1 throughout the period 1947 to 1956. | ||||

The track length fluctuated between 370 yards and 382 yards from 1945 to 1997. |  |

The team won the Knockout Cup in 1991, 1993, 1995 and again in 1996, whilst they were Premiership winners in 1994 and League Champions in 1997. A wonderfully successful 7 year period in their history |  |
