IZMIR RACECOURSE  
The Izmir racecourse was one of the first to be established In Turkey. The Turkish Jockey Club were founded in 1950 and organised their first meeting in September 1953. The racecourse has a dirt surface with a total racing circumference of 1756 metres.
  The course also has the luxury of holding night race meetings since it has floodlighting.
