This was run on Wednesday 2nd June 1993 and the winner was bred by Juddmonte Farm and trained by Sir Henry Cecil. There were 16 runners and the winner won by 3 1/2 lengths in a time of 2 mins 34.51 secs, with 2 1/2 lengths between second and third. The winner was owned by Khalid Abdulla, the second by Maktoum Al Maktoum and the third by Wafic Said. The winner won a first prize of £447,580, (The equivalent of £866,800 in today's terms based on Bank of England inflation calculator).
