This was run on Wednesday 24th May 1882 and the winner was bred by Mr Henry Chaplin and trained by John Porter at Kingsclere. There were 14 runners from an initial entry of 197. The winner won by 3/4 of a length in 2 mins 45.6 secs, with a good distance between second and third.
