COWDENBEATH GREYHOUND STADIUM

The Central Park Stadium was used as a greyhound race track initially in 1928 with the first recorded meeting taking place on 7th July of that year. The town had two tracks with the first in the North End of the town, whilst the second was around the perimeter of the local football pitch.

The track situated at Central Park had reference 3° 20' W 56° 6' N. The track opened on 7th July 1928 and operated under NGRC rules throughout its history.
